I can’t believe how many bitchasses are crying in the notes on this post just because this girl who’s undocumented dared to excel
YAAAAS QUEEN
People on social media were so outraged by this post that they actually reported her to US Immigration and Customs Enforcement and filed complaints to the CVS she worked at (x)(x). Luckily, she has a deportation deferral from DACA, so it does not seem like she is at risk of being deported. However, she is receiving all sorts of online threats and had to deactivate her Twitter account. She said, “ I didn’t think it would [get so much attention] tbh and it’s kinda scary and I want it to stop.” Just another clear example of hatred against Latinos and immigrants.
i don’t think they would have called immigration on a Canadian immigrant who posted this. so i don’t think the “and” is appropriate. this happened because she’s a Latinx immigrant.
You right.
I don’t mean to be that guy, but knowing this country and how awful it is to people that are immigrants, she knew that this kind of bigoted hatred would’ve came. No one is that ignorant of not knowing how the internet is and how it’s filled with awful people. It’s a shame that people were sending her threats and shit because of that, but making a comment like that is bait to those kind of assholes
/ quit genderizing things that don’t need to be genderized /
One of these is just wrong, bone structure is different in each sex, so facial features are inherently gender specific. Some faces tend to be more feminine or masculine even when not of the specific gender the feature related to, but the features are gendered. The same goes for facial hair. Any gender can have any feature, but genetically there ARE sex-specific traits. The problem is people caring about what it means to be a specific gender when in reality, it doesn’t matter. Both extremes are wrong in this matter. There are NATURALLY gendered things, and no one can deny this fact without denying all biological sciences. However, no one can use those sciences to justify society being so gendered or people being decidedly male or female or other.
